Ultra CEMS gains AS/EN9100 accreditation

Ultra CEMs gained the prestigious AS/EN9100 accreditation in April 2006. This approval relates to companies supplying their goods and services to the Aerospace sector and formally recognises the work and processes Ultra CEMS has put in place to manage client business from this high reliability segment.

Ron Theobald, Ultra CEMS Quality Manager commented. "The fact that we achieved this accreditation so quickly is a testament to the quality of both our people and our long established business processes. Neil Garbutt, our Senior Quality Engineer headed up our approval team. The work he had previously carried out mapping our business processes in 2005 allowed us to effectively pinpoint any potential weaknesses we had ahead of the rigorous AS/EN9100 audit schedule".

Note:AS/EN9100 includes ISO9001:1994 quality system requirements and specifies additional requirements for the quality system of the aerospace industry. The requirements of AS/EN9100 are complimentary to customer specific requirements.
